Our commercial fit-out team loves a challenge! Many of our projects involve creating a fully-equipped gym in a relatively limited space, which was the case with Gilroy Catholic College in Castle Hill, NSW.

The existing fitness centre was in need of an upgrade to improve PE classes and the students’ overall mental and physical health.

Gym and Fitness set about installing an often overlooked aspect to gyms used by younger developing bodies: flooring. The high-impact rubber tiles provide supreme cushioning and elasticity, reducing the impact on bones, joints and muscles.

Our team then replaced a number of ageing, non-functional pieces with a range of space-saving strength solutions, including an All-In-One Trainer and Power Rack.

We were also able to provide modern high-performance cardio equipment, including a Treadmill, Rower and Spin Bike, which increase cardiovascular health and assist with weight loss.

By maximising the available footprint and expanding the training options, the new fitness centre now allows for the improved delivery of PE classes and greater enjoyment for both staff and students alike!
