The Force USA Functional Trainer Rack is not just another trainer, it is the foundation of your entire setup. Combining a functional trainer, half rack, chin-up station, and suspension trainer in one, it delivers unmatched versatility in a space-saving design. Precision-engineered with 3x3 uprights, 11-gauge steel, and 1-inch holes, the FTR ensures rock-solid stability and long-lasting durability that holds up to the toughest training sessions.
Take your cable training to the next level with fully adjustable freestyle pulley arms. They move up, down, and side-to-side with smooth precision thanks to reversible cable trolleys and polished aluminium pulleys. Operating on a 2:1 ratio, the system gives you controlled resistance and endless exercise options, from explosive functional movements to controlled isolation work.
The FTR comes standard with dual 90.7 kg (200 lb) weight stacks, providing enough resistance for most lifters. Each stack can be upgraded to 113.4 kg (250 lb) or 136 kg (300 lb), ensuring your equipment grows with your strength. With 2.3 kg (5 lb) fractional stack add-ons, you will experience smoother progressions and avoid training plateaus.
Straight out of the box, the FTR comes loaded with attachments: knurled aluminium handles, a tricep rope, ankle cuffs, pegboard pins, band pegs, extension chains, and more. A barbell holder and recessed storage shelf keep your training space tidy, while quick-lock magnetic pins make setup and transitions effortless.
Designed for home gyms, the FTR offers commercial-grade performance in a compact footprint. Its matte-black electrostatic finish, laser-cut numbering, and sharp lines bring both form and function. With a minimum ceiling height of 239 cm (94 in) required for chin-ups, it is a rack that does not just fit your space, it elevates it.

Setting up the Functional Training Rack (FTR), I was in love... the FTR is just so sexy! It is sleek, smooth, stylish and aesthetically beautiful. Its attractiveness is important... seeing it lures me into my home gym; I train more and longer than I anticipated. But after using the FTR daily for a few weeks is not only sexy... with 3x3-inch 11-gauge steel, 2x 90kg weight stacks, and precision engineering, the FTR is also incredibly stout, robust, and a delight to use; a seriously capable and expandable piece of home gym equipment. The FTR's adjustable arms, combined with the Force USA Pro Series FID Bench and the Force USA Swivel Seat, have unlocked nearly unlimited exercise versatility.
For the price, the FTR represents outstanding value, and I highly recommend it.

I recently picked up the Force USA Functional Fitness Trainer from Gym and Fitness, and honestly—it’s a game changer.
The build quality is rock solid, the cables are smooth, and everything just feels premium. It’s insanely versatile too, basically a full gym in one setup without completely taking over the garage.
Assembly took a bit of effort, but once it’s up, it’s bulletproof. The only real downside? It’s removed every excuse I had not to train.
If you’re serious about home workouts, this thing is an absolute weapon. Highly recommend.

I purchased this trainer as a Xmas gift for wife. At first glance I note that the packaging was outstanding. The organization of all items is also very well done. For the most part the instructions are decent but there is room for improvement. For example, some of the exploded assy views are difficult to interpret which hardware goes where. The views are so small that there is not enough detail to understand. With extra study I was able to figure out. Another issue with instructions is related to the cable assy. The drawings don't show that the end of the cable needs to be disassembled and fed through the trolly assy. Only took me 20 mins to figure that out. Finally at the beginning of the assy there are metal supports installed on the guide pipes for the weights (they look like spools). The number of spools used is dependent on how much weight you ordered for your machine. Would have been nice to know that as the spools have a direct impact on how the cables fit. I had to remove all the weights and remove the spools so the cable would fit correctly. The first major hiccup during the build was with one of the vertical slide trollies. The locking pin was frozen and could not be installed. I called service and was told a replacement was going to be shipped. I waited a few weeks with no replacement which meant the build was on hold until the trolley was delivered. A follow up call revealed the replacement had not been sent but I was assured it would be on its way. Another week or so and it finally arrived. (Side note: Force did not want the original trolley returned. How can you resolve quality issues if you don't understand what the issue is. . . I find that somewhat peculiar) Anyway onward with the assy process. Quality of material appears above average. I would note that although the assembly is relatively easy there are some basic engineering design concepts that have not been considered. For example when using bolts to assemble components there should always be swing room allowance for tools, wrenches and the like, to fit over bolt heads and tighten. The vertical supports that mount to the base have a few bolts that cannot be fully tightened because of the space limitations.
All in all, I like the robust design, compact footprint and the highly adjustable cable pull trollies. Now that the machine is built I can say I am pleased with the quality and function of the trainer.
