The tiles are thick and definitely feel like they can take a beating, however as others have stated in buried reviews, they are most definitely not precisely cut which is disappointing given their cost. While this isn't necessarily a deal breaker, it means that tiling them, even offset from each other in a 'brick laying' pattern, is definitely going to leave you annoyed if you have OCD as none of the 17 I have seem to be exactly 1m * 1m, and more frustratingly, they seem to taper off around the edges, either long or short, so you won't have a tight fit between the tiles, and as a result, you'll see your flooring underneath shining through.
If you're not really too phased and 'close enough is good enough', then sure, these will probably work great for you. But if you like to be precise and get a tight wall to wall fit in your gym room, then the only solution with these would be to shave them down yourself, which seems like a silly solution when there are so many other options out there.
..and yes, sadly these are the 'Commercial' 1m * 1m * 15mm tiles.
