Questions on Olympic / Standard Size Hex Trap Barbell

  • Hi,
    Can you tell me what thickness the bars are, with Olympic sleeves removed?
    All my 'standard' plates are 1 inch, or 25mm aperture.
    
    Please get back to me - I'm very interested in this product.

    Thanks for the email. The standard bar's thickness is 28mm. All standard weight plates should now be 28mm aperture wherever you buy it from.

    How long are the arms that carries the weights. I am interested to know how many standard 10kg standard weight plates I can fit on this unit. Does this come with weight collars?

    This barbell is out of stock but we can up grade you to the Force USA Commercial Hex Trap Bar. The difference between the two are this one has 3 different grips and is made up of a thicker steel. We can do this bar for an extra $100.

  • These ones are light duty hex trap bars as they are hollow. I would be happy to load these up to about 150kg, any more that that I would suggest getting a more heavy duty barbell. Hope that helps.

    Thanks for the email. We are out of stock of the Hex Trap barbell priced at $89 at the moment. Our supplier has give us an ETA of 4-6 weeks until it come back in stock. This bar takes standard and Olympic weights.
